Visit Herefordshire Tourism Awards 2025 – Winners

Honouring the people and places powering Herefordshire tourism

On 3 March 2026, the spotlight was on Herefordshire’s tourism champions as presenter Kate Humble announced the winners of the Visit Herefordshire Tourism Awards 2025. Held at the Courtyard Hereford, the gala dinner welcomed over 200 local business leaders, industry professionals, and dignitaries for a night of celebration and recognition. More than 83 finalists, shortlisted by expert judges in 2025, competed across 16 categories. 20 outstanding winners were honoured for their exceptional service to Herefordshire’s tourism sector. The evening’s top accolade, Visit Herefordshire’s Business of the Year, was awarded to Oldfield Forge, who also triumphed in Experience of the Year category. All the national award category winners from the event will automatically be shortlisted for the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence later in the year.

Kate Humble, presenter of Escape to the Farm, Springwatch and Wild Shepherdess and author of six books including A Year of Living Simply and Thinking on My Feet (shortlisted for the Wainwright Prize and the Stanford Travel Writing Award) said: I was delighted to host the Visit Herefordshire Tourism Awards. As everyone in tourism knows, it takes a great deal of imagination, hard work and dedication to make any business connected with the sector a success, and these awards have recognised what a wealth of talent there is in Herefordshire.  It also gives many of the winners the chance of national recognition at the VisitEngland Awards later in the year.  It was a really exciting and inspiring night,”

Diane Mansell, CEO of Herefordshire County BID/Visit Herefordshire, added: We are so excited to have announced the winners of Visit Herefordshire Tourism Awards 2025. Year 2 really has been incredible exciting, especially with the launch of our two new local categories – Retailer and Wedding Venue of the Year. I was thrilled that Kate joined us on the evening. Kate is a champion for responsible tourism, especially the challenges faced in largely rural counties like Herefordshire. In a year that began with Hamnet showcasing the historic landscapes and villages of Herefordshire, to now be able to shine a light on the people that make it such a welcoming place is so gratifying. Our winners are a remarkable group of businesses that exemplify innovation, dedication, and excellence in Herefordshire’s Visitor Economy.

The Visit Herefordshire Tourism Awards recognise and promote excellence across the County’s Visitor Economy raising the profile of local businesses and inspiring continued growth and innovation.

Love Herefordshire Fund – Herefordshire Community Foundation – The proceeds of the raffle held at the gala dinner will be donated to Herefordshire Community Foundation, a charity which delivers the Love Herefordshire Fund supporting a diverse range of causes and communities across Herefordshire, and the official charity of the Visit Herefordshire Tourism Awards 2026.
