Youth Worker
We are keen to hear from anyone interested in joining our youth team. A positive attitude, patience and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. Plenty of energy and creativity would also come in very handy as well as a willingness and strong motivation to work with children with disabilities/additional needs on an individual and team basis in community, health or educational setting. Post holder responsibilities would include the implementation of activities and programmes under direction of the Youth Leader. The post holder would be responsible for the health, safety, welfare and wellbeing of children and young people age 3- 25 years attending the activity and contribute to the planning and organising of stimulating and creative opportunities.

Befriender/Volunteer for Children and young people
The National Youth Advocacy Service is a wonderful children’s rights charity dedicated to supporting and empowering young people who have experienced care. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers in Hereford and surrounding areas to befriend and mentor a young person in care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a young person’s life! Young Person quote: ‘It gives you a friend that you can spend time with doing the things you like to do’ Children and young people in care truly deserve an adult who can share their time, engage in fun activities, and build a trusting and meaningful relationship. Your visits can easily fit into your schedule, allowing you to juggle your commitments while being a positive role model for a young person. Volunteering for Scope Charity Shop in Ross on Wye. We are looking for people to help process stock, customer service on the shop floor. We are a friendly team, and you can choose what tasks you would like to do at your pace. We provide training to support you on the way.
